After a break from school, it's natural for kids to mentally "check out" a little bit. But at the start of the new year, it's the perfect time to reassess goals, grades and extracurricular activities, and get inspired to finish the year strong.
Franchisee Monica Wolf was featured on KMAX where she shared several learning tools for parents to utilize with their children. Monica explained that these tools can be used to help keep kids organized and focused through the end of the school year!
- SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) - set goals for grades, projects and extracurricular activities.
- Weekly calendars - log your time to track your productivity and stay organized.
- Study space/routine - is everything you need easily accessible to you?
- Planners - are you using it, and is the format working? If not, consider a new planner method.
